Welcome to the University of Sydney Conservative Club

As the largest and oldest continuously active club on campus representing Classical Liberal and Conservative students, ConClub is the unmistakable beating heart of small government conservativism and centre-right politics on campus.

We follow in the intellectual tradition of great Australian leaders, such as Robert Menzies and John Howard, and international leaders such as Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. As a club, we believe in standing against the ever increasing leviathan of the state and in defending civil society and those fundamental rights, considered classically liberal but conservative in the Anglosphere: free enterprise, freedom of assembly, belief, speech and the defence of property rights.

Our rich alumni network, which members have wide access to, includes Liberal Members of Parliament, media personalities, and leading figures in the legal, finance and economics industries.

Throughout the year we host a full calendar of events, ranging from policy panels and debates, to lectures by prominent MPs, social events, any everything in-between. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to stay up to date with our upcoming events.

We hope to see you at one of our events soon!
